Stonewall TV is the name of a YouTube channel operated by our association. Every week we publish materials related to sexual education from the LGBT+ perspective.
The channel was established in May 2019 as a reaction to the announced changes in the functioning of sexual education in Polish schools. There has never been a real sex education in our country. Classes on “education for family life” remain under a strong ideological influence of the Catholic religion and do not provide reliable knowledge about many aspects of human sexuality.
This particularly affects young LGBT+ people who have to look for information about non-heteronormativity outside school. Poland lacks reliable, accessible sources of information on psychosexual orientation and gender identity. This fosters a feeling of alienation and hostility towards the minority that prevails in Polish schools.
Stonewall TV materials feature people with solid expert knowledge in the field of sexology, psychology and psychiatry. Their perspective is complemented by people speaking from a personal perspective.
At Stonewall TV, we are not afraid of any topic. The most popular videos on the channel include materials about enema before anal sex, safe termination of pregnancy, dating transgender people, erotic gadgets for women and debut in male-male sex. In addition, there are videos about informed consent in sex, open relationships, intimate health, sexually transmitted diseases, communication in sex, hair removal, late coming out, sexuality of people with disabilities and much more!
