The Stonewall Group was founded on 22 May 2015. We are an LGBT+ organization based in the Wielkopolska region.
Our association is for people who support equal rights for same-sex couples as well as combating discrimination and violence. We actively participate in a number of initiatives focusing on the fight for human rights.
The Stonewall Group is an association known for, among other things, organising the Poznań Pride Week festival – the biggest LGBT+ event in Poland after the Warsaw Equality Parade. Traditionally, the Equality March is a culmination of a week full of events. In 2019, a record number of 13,000 people participated in it.
In March 2019, LGBT+ Congress was organised in Warsaw by the Love Does Not Exclude Association (Stowarzyszenie Miłość Nie Wyklucza) with the support from ILGA Europe. Twenty seven LGBT+ groups and organisations from all over Poland participated in the Congress. They adopted a Declaration which enumerated the most important needs of the LGBT+ community and proposed specific legal solutions addressing these needs.
